Details The All(B)right concept offers a wide range of learning opportunities for youth workers to address discrimination in European youth work.

All(B)right consists of three complemantary phases:
A five day international training course in Hamburg. Participants will gain knowledge of Human Rights Education with a focus on origins, consequences, and spread of discrimination.
Support to develop projects addressing anti-discrimination within the YOUTH Programme. Participants should be able to develop activities by using tools of Human Rights Education.
An evaluation seminar in 2006, aiming at the evaluation of the projects, the developement of relevant competencies, and the examination of opportunities for further co-operation. Exact date and place of that seminar are unknown at this stage.

Aims
- to develop youth workers' competencies in addressing discrimination through Human Rights Education
- to raise awareness about different forms of discrimination
- to exchange knowledge in the different fields of discrimination
- to provide participants with resources (tools & methods)
- to explore concepts of Human Rights Education with young people
- to familiarise participants with the approaches of COMPASS, a manual on Human Rights Education from the Council of Europe

Target group
Youth workers actively involved in activities for and with young people; knowledge about and experience in the YOUTH Programme; (interested to be) working in the field of anti-discrimination/anti-racism and/or Human Rights Education
Costs There is no fee to be paid by the participants, but the transport costs which will be covered by the National Agencies of your home country.
